These calendars are tables listed by age and month. The youngest the standard calendar will track is for ladies of age eighteen, and the oldest it'll track for is women of age forty five. This is due to the age of the system, as it was made so long back. When you're planning on having a baby, you can try and time conception by the Chinese lunar calendar in the hope of having a kid of the gender you would like. However, this isn't a real science, and is only recommended to be used as a general guideline in making an attempt to control the gender of the kid.
The Chinese lunar calendar is believed to have been used for five thousand years, with archaeological proof establishing that it has existed for no less than 3 and a half thousand years. The Chinese lunar calendar went out of use for standard date keeping in 1912, where it was replaced by the Gregorian calendar for official business.
However, the Gregorian calendar did not come into full use till 1929, after the Jingoist state usurped command of all of China.
